With its functionality, ERP QAD Adaptive fulfills the industry focus on the automotive industry that TOMATEX requested. Minerva has implemented QAD including the EDI communication module for 60 users.

"On the need to replace the ERP system at TOMATEX Otrokovice we started thinking in 2020, and the selection process subsequently started in 2021. The main reason for the decision was to reach the technical ceiling of the original information system. We ran into more and more limitations given by its structure. That was the moment when the final decision was made to choose a new ERP system. A total of 5 companies implementing various ERP systems participated in the tender, and the winning Minerva CR with ERP QAD met most of our requirements. This company has many years of experience with knowledge of processes in the automotive industry, with implementations and providing support," commented Roman Wiesner, IT manager at TOMATEX, on the selection of the new system.

"The originally planned implementation timeframe was exceeded due to optimization of our internal processes. The years of experience of Minerva´s consultants helped us a lot here. To date, we have already completed more than half a year of heavy traffic. ERP QAD appears to us to be a stable system, there has been an increase in efficiency in the areas of EDI communication, production process planning, and thanks to the tools of the QAD system, we have generated relevant data for internal controlling. At the same time, we also obtained important materials for the creation of managerial outputs. Despite certain difficulties during the implementation and transition to ERP QAD, more and more users confirm to us that their work is more efficient thanks to the new information system," commented Roman Wiesner.
